A fisherman named Nate recently captured some awesome footage from a camera he set up on a Montana lake.

Nate had spotted a bald eagle perched in a tree and figured he could capture some cool footage, but he didn’t want to wait for nature to put a fish in the eagle’s path. So he did it himself.

After placing a fish he had caught earlier in sight of the bird, it didn’t take long for it to make its way down to the water as it scooped it up and flew off.

It’s always great to see footage of these birds since it wasn’t that long ago that they nearly died off.
