Moments like this one featuring a huge school of hammerhead sharks at Darwin’s Arch in the Galapagos are the culmination of everything lining up perfectly.

The water visibility in this area is generally around 40-50 feet, but thanks to clear waters and a high sun on a clear day, the visibility was easily over 100 feet.

This once in a lifetime capture is an amazing site that will become less and less common since hammerheads are becoming rare to find as they’re being killed for their fins.
