After stumbling into a canal and getting trapped int the water, a young kangaroo found help from a surprising source – a guy on a blue and yellow kayak. After noticing the struggling animal, some rescuers made use of the kayak to help him float his way to safety before a quickly rising tide put them in more danger.
Once they got close to land they sedated the kangaroo in order to lift him to safety. Before releasing him, they washed and disinfected his feet before he woke up and hopped off.
