Thermal Scope Helps Down 45 Coyotes In Epic Footage

The dark won’t save these coyotes from meeting a quick and precise end

These coyotes probably thought there was safety in numbers. It’s too bad for them that they messed with the wrong farmers as they kill 45 coyotes with a thermal scope.

Coyotes are beyond a nuisance for any farmer hoping to safely raise livestock. But these farmers go on a night hunting spree and do their best to take coyotes out of the equation and keep their cows safe.

They just couldn’t say no to a good steak!

“Coyotes are presently the most abundant livestock predators in western North America, causing the majority of sheep, goat, and cattle losses,” according to Ultimate Night Vision. “For example, according to the National Agricultural Statistics Service, coyotes were responsible for 60.5% of the 224,000 sheep deaths attributed to predation in 2004.”

That’s a big chunk of a farmers livelihood.

They’ve even been known to attack humans. Especially in more urban areas where they’ve lost their fear of people.

If they didn’t take matters into their own hands they wouldn’t have many cows left in the field for long. Since they have to do it they might as well make it an enjoyable pastime.

There are worse things to die for than a steak

It’s not much of a competition once the shooting starts. Especially since they’re using what just might be the ultimate coyote killer combo.

Using a thermal imaging scope turns this entire hunt into what’s essentially an easier version of Duck Hunt.

The hunters set their sights on the coyotes and wait until they have a clear shot without any cows in the line of fire.

Although nearby coyotes run off when a shot rings out, it doesn’t take long before others or the same ones pop back up.

The promise of an easy meal must’ve been too tempting to give up on, even though their buddies kept dropping like flies.
