Locals in the Negev desert, Israel received quite the surprise when the dry bed of the river Zin miraculously fills with water before their very eyes. After years of drought, it’s incredible to see just how quickly the river goes from a barren wasteland to full of flowing water.
This spectacle is actually nothing new for the river, as it has gone through droughts and been refilled by flash floods over the course of many centuries. It’s easy to see why the locals are so excited by the long awaited return of the river.
