You never know what you’re going to find in Australia. This particular encounter involving a kangaroo in a cattle grate may have just reached peak Australia.
In the clip, a man and his sons have just come across a kangaroo which has gotten itself stuck, upside down, in a cattle grate. Its unclear how it happened, but the father is seen slowly pulling the roo out of the grate as he and his sons talk.
“We’ve come across this cattle grate and this roo’s got himself down there,” says the dad. “I’m gonna try to get him out. He might have just hurt himself, but these guys have got a kick on them like a bit of a horse.”
He was lucky to get it free and not find out just how much like a horse they can kick.
Hopefully this kangaroo can manage to keep away from cattle grates in the future. So long as it follows the advice given by one of the boys, it should be okay.
“Have a good life and don’t do it again,” says one of the sons.
