It might sound like a ridiculous question, but is bulletproof glass also bowling ball proof?
The guys over at How Ridiculous decided to find out by chucking various bowling balls at a sheet of bulletproof glass from 150 feet up.
Incredibly enough, the glass does stop the bowling ball every time. But the glass doesn’t fare so well. While the top layer remains uncracked, every layer underneath gets pretty beat up and actually starts breaking off in chunks.
It might eventually break away if it got hit with enough bowling balls, but we’d say you’re safe should someone ever attempt to hit you with a bowling ball through bulletproof glass — we’d question your life choices if they did.
