Man Builds Rocket And Launches Himself In It To Prove Earth is Flat — Seriously

We’re not sure if “Mad Mike” Hughes has been living under a flat rock his entire life or what, but he recently decided to launch himself into the air to observe the Earth.

Why did he do this exactly? He wanted to prove the Earth was flat and not round.

Hughes actually built a rocket and launched himself 1,875 feet into the air in California. His landing was a little rough and he got injured, but he assures everyone that this won’t be his last attempt to observe a “flat earth.”

“Do I believe the Earth is shaped like a Frisbee? I believe it is,” says Hughes. “Do I know for sure? No. That’s why I want to go up in space.”

You’d think he would’ve learned a long time ago that the earth is indeed round, but he’s not going to take just anyone’s (everyone’s) word for it. That’s why he has to find out for himself and prove that he lives on the only disc-shaped planet in the solar system.
