Building the Impossible: Assembling the Tallest Bridge in the World

We’ve seen the Millau Viaduct before, but seeing the time and work it took into actually making this incredible undertaking a reality is something else. The 8,000-plus foot long bridge was built from opposite ends of one of largest and widest canyons in the world. That means they not only had to build bridge that basically defies physics, they also had to make it perfectly meet in the middle. Luckily for the builders they managed to get pretty close and were only off by a few millimeters when they met in the middle.
