Sadly, the childhoods of many of us turns out to have been one big lie. The lie in question? That Bugs Bunny could save himself from a shotgun blast by sticking a carrot down the barrel, thus redirecting the blast at the shooter.
Luckily for us, Demolition Ranch put this myth to rest before anyone else found out the hard way that a carrot down a shotgun barrel results in a draw at best.
It turns out, the carrot wouldn’t have saved everyone’s favorite gray bunny, but it would have saved the next furry creature that may have had Elmer Fudd’s gun pointed their way. That is, unless he had a backup gun. Then those other wascally wabbit’s wouldn’t have fared so well.
