Salt Strong co-founder Luke Simonds may have the best reason for ending a work meeting early we’ve ever heard. During a recent meeting, he and his crew couldn’t help but notice a snook outside their window that was hanging out on the edge of the sand. After some deliberation, they all decided that taking a crack at catching the snook was a good enough reason to end the meeting early.

During a recent meeting, he and his crew couldn’t help but notice a snook outside their window that was hanging out on the edge of the sand. After some deliberation, they all decided that taking a crack at catching the snook was a good enough reason to end the meeting early.

They didn’t want to take a chance on scaring the snook off, so Luke said he’d cast from the third-floor balcony of their room. He had several obstacles that made this a challenging cast (he had to cast with his left hand and there was a palm tree in the way) but he managed to snag the snook on the third cast!
