We’re not entirely sure what this husband and wife captured on their camera while bailing water out of their boat, but it looks like the ran into the Kraken.

“My husband was bailing water out of our boat after a huge storm,” the wife said in the description. “Every time he threw the water we saw splashes in the water. I happened to be recording on one of the tosses and we saw huge splashes of water everywhere. We both looked at each other and said ‘I will never swim in there again!'”

They were apparently from Debary, Florida, which makes alligators seem like the most likely culprit. Apparently, it’s actually some manatees behind the frenzy, which casts a whole new light on the gentle sea cow.

If manatees can be that vicious, we’d be a little wary of hopping into the water with them in the future.
