The middle of the week is always the time where the weekend is both too many days behind and ahead of us at the same time.

Fortunately, this baby harp seal understands how hump day can feel and shows us what we all want to be doing — resting up for that big weekend trip outdoors.

In truth, this seal pup is taking it easy after a big meal.

“The pups get fed for 14 days with a high percentage of milk fat,” according to the filmer. “After feeding, they’re pretty chilled and if you approach them with caution, shuffle your way, you can spend lots of time with them up close. No touching, just respectful encounters.”
