VIDEO: Beachgoers Remove Hook From Hammerhead Shark That Swam Up To Shore

Apparently, these beachgoers had noticed a hammerhead shark swimming close to shore that had a hook still stuck in it.

It was close enough to shore that some of them decided to pull the shark out of the water and take the hook out.

We hand it to them for trying to help it out, but this could’ve easily turned into a dangerous situation for the people involved and the shark. It was thrashing around so much it could’ve (and probably did) hurt itself and ended up injuring someone while trying to remove the hook.

Luckily, it appears the mange to get the hook out and the shark gets back in the water and swims off.
