Captain Josh Prunier caught some serious manatee action on a recent trip to Anna Maria Island, Florida. He discovered the mating sea cows while at the Coquina boat ramp. It’s hard to tell just how many of them there are at any given time, but it appears to always be no less than ten.

“Look at this, it’s like a 15-some,” Prunier can be heard saying before they start to swim off. “I wonder if I can touch them.”

We wouldn’t recommend getting into the middle of that one, especially with how much water they’re churning up. The craziest thing about this whole manatee mating parade isn’t that it happened, it’s that they did it right at the dock and stuck around.
