Located at NIST in Washington DC, they have calibrated 20 interlocking weight plates that each weigh approximately 50,000 pounds that are capable of measuring one million pounds of force.
Thanks to this insanely heavy weight stack, it ensures places don’t break in half during flight and that rockets will be able to make it to their destination.
