Buubble isn’t like anything you’ve ever seen. The self-described 5 million star hotel is a unique place to lay your head at the end of the day because it gives you some of the best views of the Northern Lights you’ll ever see.
Located in Reykjavík, Iceland, Buubble offers visitors the opportunity to stay in one of five transparent bubble tents. The units offer incredible scenery as guests are surrounded by the forest. Winter guests have the luxury of catching the Aurora Borealis while summer guests are put right into the middle of wildlife.
The bubbles remain inflated with the help of a ventilation system that keeps guests comfortable during the summer. During winter months there is a heating system that will keep guests warm as the enjoy the view.
Rooms start at $295 a night and offer either a single round bed for two or two double beds. Restrooms, showers and the kitchen are all located in a wooden outbuilding nearby.
Visitors are able to explore the surrounding Thingvellir National Park, the Geysir hot springs, Gullfoss waterfall and the Secret Lagoon before they settle down for a night in their bubble room.
