Congratulations to Robert Field, who has now won the Kayak Angler Choice Awards for Video of the Year for the third consecutive year! His 2015 winning video featured a road trip from Texas to South Florida targeting mahi mahi, sailfish, and a huge hammerhead. This is an incredible accomplishment given the amount of anglers that are vying for the title – and that also produce their own quality content.

From Robert on his win, “Don’t let anyone lie to you: video editing is an extremely time consuming process. There are no shortcuts if you want to produce quality films. I often find myself wondering why I’m pouring so much time into my video work when they don’t pay the bills. Luckily for me, I enjoy it. And when I see the constant support and encouragement from friends, family, and others in my industry, I’m quickly reminded of why I put so much time into it. To be recognized by winning Video of the Year for a 3rd straight year is nothing short of a dream. I’d like to thank each and every person who took the time to vote, and more importantly, took the time to watch. New episode coming soon, stay tuned…”
