Angler Breaks State Record With 16-Pound, 9-Ounce Walleye

North Dakota must have a secret to keep growing their Walleye bigger and bigger.

Tom Volk recently caught a fish that many of us will just spend our lives dreaming about when he snagged a walleye that measured in at 16 pounds, 9 ounces.

The previous record set by Neal Leier was 15 pounds, 13 ounces and had been set less than a year ago.

We’ll be on standby waiting for the next monster out of the Peace Garden State.
