A blad eagle isn’t exactly a standard catch when out fishing, but when these fishermen discovered one drowning they jumped into action to help. At first the eagle is understandably scared and tries to fly off but only manages to paddle off with its wings.

When they finally get it on the boat, they start the process of helping it dry its wings that were completely soaked. The guy holding the eagle was incredibly brave during the process because even with the head covering on the bird, it could’ve easily shredded him up in a heartbeat.

It’s great to see a group of people who stopped and put in the time and effort to help an eagle in severe distress.
