When it comes to the perfect wave, eleven-time world surfing champion Kelly Slater knows a thing or two about what he’d want if he could control what the waves do. With his latest venture and the launch of the Kelly Slater Wave Company, it turns out he can do just that.

The wave machine allows for surfers to ride one perfect, continuous wave for as long as they want, whenever they want.

Slater started this project almost ten years ago with the help of a team to help make his dream into a reality.

The pool, located roughly 100 miles from Lemoore, California isn’t open for public use – only by invitation from the man himself. Here’s to hoping I get my phone call soon.
