Things weren’t going so well for this crabeater seal dubbed “Kevin” when he was discovered by people aboard the Lindblad Expeditions National Geographic Explorer.
While trying to relax and spend some time out of the water, a pod of orcas discover his hiding place and start to bombard him with wave after wave in an effort to wash him off the ice. They eventually resort to more direct tactics when that doesn’t work as they break the ice apart by force.
While they manage to disrupt Kevin’s day, they aren’t able to make a meal out of him as he finally manages to escape their nonstop attack.
