Another Alligator Attacks Man in Florida – 60 Miles From Disney World

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said an eight-and-a-half-foot-long alligator attacked a 58-year-old man Tuesday on County Road 311 in Bushnell, WKMG reported.

The man’s condition was not immediately known, but he was airlifted to Ocala Regional Hospital.

The alligator was euthanized by a Florida Wildlife Commission gator trapper, according to Sumter County Fire and EMS Battalion Chief Brian Tucker. It weighed approximate 300 pounds, Tucker said.

Bushnell is about 60 miles away from Disney World in Orlando, where an alligator killed a toddler last week.
