It’s hard to believe it’s already been 10 years since Steve Erwin died in a tragic accident involving a stingray. It’s nearly impossible to find anyone in pop culture who cares half as much about animals and the great outdoors as much as The Crocodile Hunter.
Erwin’s daughter, Bindi, who was only eight at the time of his death, has worked hard to continue her father’s endeavors in making a difference for wildlife.
On her father’s 10th anniversary of his death, Bindi payed tribute with a post that honored the late Erwin:
Now that Bindi is older, she and her mother, Terri, live in the Australia Zoo, where they educate people on wildlife and how important conservation is in order for us and the animals to continue to enjoy the beauty that only nature provides.
