This beautiful video compilation shows divers swimming between the North American and Eurasian continental plates in Iceland’s Silfra Fissure. It was posted to scientist Hashem Al-Ghaili’s Facebook page and has been viewed nearly 25 million times in the past several days. It’s an incredible, pristine place where powerful forces are at work. The site, which is known as one of the best dive sites in the world, is located in Iceland’s Thingvellir Lake.
